I enjoyed my time at Peppertree, felt safe and loved the walking distance to everything! Bill the manager has always been super helpful and prompt and our handyman very quick every time I needed something. Big thank you!!
The pro is this place is cheap. However while we lived here for two years we got cockroaches twice (once for over 6 months due to insufficient exterminators hired by property manager Bill), we had black mold all over our apartment (despite having a dehumidifier and using bathroom fan) which other tenants told me they had an issue with as well (instead of getting rid of black mold property manager painted over the black mold which did not stop the problem), we got robbed and when we told property manager Bill said many people... read more
We've had noisy construction next door (at what looks like it will be called The Palms) since August and it doesn't look like it is stopping anytime soon. Six days a week, with the workers getting onsite before 8am everyday and sometimes staying through taking happy hour onsite until 6 or 7pm. Seven months later, the workers are still at the stage of putting holes in the outside of the building, kicking up dust onto our complex, and blasting music. Before this month, I would have said this apartment complex is awesome, but we've had noisy construction next door (at the old Oceanus apartment complex) for weeks and it doesn't sound like it is stopping anytime soon. Six days a week, with the workers getting onsite before 8am everyday. Be sure to check the status on this if you are interested in the complex. Oct 1 update - the construction is very much still active 6 days a week. Apartment management has ignored the situation.
