Pepper Pod bmk must not dine out much because almost every restaurant worth patronizing requires an 18% tip on large parties. Perhaps it was a bad night. Isn't everyone entitled to a bad day now and then? I wonder if bmkjudges her friends, family, church and job as harshly as she has judged this eating establishment?! Comments about 2 other reviews-where were they eating? Re: "bmk"'s review....The Pod doesn't add gratuity to any tickets with the exception of their banquet facility. Seems a bit unfair to give them 1 star when you liked the food but not the service...Our family has had 1-2 events each year & Chef Amy works with us to organize these events. She only has 4 servers who work upstairs & we have been served by all three- Terry, Renna, Kaleena & Stacey. They have all been there for more than 10 years and are outstanding! Long time customer Love "the Pod" and feel its one of the most consistently good meals anywhere. My husband and I travel all over the US & the world and I can't tell you how often we find ourselves wishing the Pod was nearby. I'm confused about one of the other reviews because unless they were around almost 100 years ago they can't know how the Pepper Pod "started out good". Maybe they're confused with the other restaurant in Hudson. LOVE THE PEPPER POD!

Just keeps getting worse Started out good and has gotten consistently worse over about the last year. We've now reached the point where we've given up and won't go back.

Poor service, tip required. I must say the food was quite good. It's too bad that experience was spoiled by exceptionaly bad service. On top of the poor service, because I was with a large party we were REQUIRED to pay a 20% tip! No wonder the service was poor, she knew she would get a large tip either way! We won't go back.
