2nd floor staff sucks next to Dunkin who ever the white bearded guy is I said hi walking in he just looks up from his phone and stares at me I said hi again and wanted to try the hot sauce I should have went upstairs to the third floor the girl up there that works there is awesome this dude needs to be retrained
My daughter and I stopped into the 2nd level store in Mall of America this past Saturday (3/21/26) around 7:30pm; from the time we walked in, to the time we walked out, the young man working didn’t greet us or look up from his phone once. Unfortunately, because of this, we left without getting the Tequilapiño sauce that my daughter likes so much. I also noticed that he did not interact with other customers who stopped in, which made for an even more unfortunate experience.
Disrespectful employee. Here's how our interaction went. I try some free samples. I leave to go to the bathroom. I return to try more samples. Out of nowhere, she screeches at me and makes a face of contempt "if you aren't gonna buy something, leave, it messes up my customer counter. We ask customers to leave if they've spent a total of 15 minutes in our store who haven't bought anything". I respond with "I was gonna buy something, but not if you're gonna be rude. Visited Minneapolis, Minnesota with my cousin on March 15 this year because in 2026 I’m trying to finish off visiting every day in the country and I’ve only got a few left! But as we were heading to find something to eat at the mall, we double up on pepper Palace, which is a hot sauce store that not only has a hot sauce variety beyond anyone’s wildest imagination! When my wife and I went in there. The employee out the gate asked us if we’re were going to buy something very rudely. I said “just looking” but was intrigued by the new Purgatory the end hot sauce and I am a huge fan of the variety of sauces. I went over to sample a few of the sauces since that was available and it’s even advertised as a sign on the window.
