I had a very disappointing experience at Pep Boys. I was told the wait time would be about one hour, but I ended up waiting for three hours. That’s a huge difference and completely unacceptable. Also, on CarAdvise the oil change was shown as around $70, but in the end I was charged $100. I understand that it’s an estimate, but a $30 difference is significant and should be communicated more clearly upfront. Overall, poor time management and lack of transparency with pricing. I would not recommend this location.
Good place to get serviced. I got my vehicle state inspection done. The waiting area was good and comfortable.
Great Customer service at the desk. Decent lounge with free coffee. Price with a coupon is not bad for oil change. I ended up giving a 5 star review on the email survey. Then…. I drove on the highway a couple days later. I kept hearing a loud rattling sound at >50mph. Stopped at a rest stop to look under the car and was disappointed to find that the protective splash cover under the car was not completely attached. 1 of the 2 bolts were missing.
