A few days back, I took my car in for an alignment (have a lifetime alignment) and tire rotation. The Pep Boys in La Habra refused to do either one! Wanted to charge $5000+ in repairs. Repairs were grossly misquoted for a 4x4 my car is 2x4. Service mgr. first says a 4x4 came from the VIN (?!), the I tell him again that its a 2x4 and mgr says it came from the license plate (!!! make up your mind, mgr was making it up). Do not go here if at all possible. I went in for a simple oil change and it end up costing me 900 dollars later on. I went to PepBoys in La Habra CA for an oil change. I had no problems with my vehicle at all. Just doing routine service. With the oil change service, they topped up the fluids. Within the month I started having problems with my brakes. I went to a different shop, they inspected my vehicle and discovered that power steering fluid had been put in to the brake fluid reservoir. It cost 900 dollars to have the brak... read more
