Pep Boys on Old Hickory While traveling through Nashville on a Sunday, my alternator went out. Seeing a Pep boys sign on Old Hickory, I pulled in. Customer service sorely lacking Just because they sell the parts and they can install them, doesn't mean that you should go there to get it done. When you take your car in for repair or maintenance, and you are female, expect to have other items added to your list of recommendations for your vehicle. service manager I would never go to this particular auto service location. The service mgr is very difficult to speak with. Had numerous issues when my car was serviced at the hicksville location. Left numerous messages over a two month period. When his assist finally called me back... I was then transferred to the service manager and was put on hold for at least 10 minutes. Trustworthy Auto Repairs I've taken my vehicle in here a few times. I always feel like these guys know what they're doing and are very honest with their diagnosis and repairs. I first when in when I was told somewhere else that I needed to replace my alternator. Pep Boys tested it first and told me it was fine, there were some loose connections on my battery and that might have been causing the problem. Helpful The Service people were very helpful to me. They were friendly and knowlegeable. I would definately come here again for my needed auto parts. The store was neat and there was ample parking in front.

Ok place... just know what you need I've been here a few times to get some parts for my honda. For the most part, i haven't had any problems. Only once did i end up getting the wrong parts for my car. So if you go here, make sure you know what you need (you could probably say the same for other auto places as well). Or look for someone who knows cars.... :)
Don't even bother to call up this store. July 5, 2010 - 7:35 PM - I called up the Pep Boys at 30085 Industrial Parkway Southwest, Union City, CA 94587 and a certain guy name SALVADOR answered the phone and put me on hold for a good 20-25 minutes. These are the kind of people that any customer service oriented businesses doesn't need.
good prices. their service is okay. not great or perfect, just okay. they took v. long even though they had no customers. they look like the slacked off a lot and they left my WINDOW OPEN in the RAIN. i was very mad. the prices are really good and cheap. if you want good service, this isn't the place. if you just need some minor maintanence, i guess so.
