Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks ago (in August) to get my car inspected. 3 hours later they call me with a list of things that need to be fixed. Agreed to it and came back to the Pep Boys and waited another 2 hours before I ask the staff the status of my car. In those 2 hours they neglected to notify me that the brake pad rotors for my car that they had delivered by another Pep Boys didn't fit my car and that they would need to order them. Lousy, just plain lousy. I had an 11:00 appointment scheduled for a state inspection. I called around 4:00 and they still had not started on my car. They said that they had 2-3 cars ahead of mine still and that they should be finished by 8pm. Really? Whats the point of an appointment? I spoke with the manager, who seemed less than apologetic. Tire repair. Great service. Recommended by two knowledgeable people for service and "best" price. They were absolutely right.
Went to the bethel park location this time because of a bad experience at the pep boys in pleasant hills. Had my car inspected and it needed some minor repairs I was ok with. When I picked up my car there was dirt and grease all over my floor, seat steering wheel and handle. I went back in and told them this and they said they sell carpet cleaner that I can clean it off with and that was that. I suggest you stay away from this company, I tried 2 different stores and both were horrible.
Took my car there for service and was waited on by a very ignorant sales person. It was like I was bothering them because I wanted to spend my money there, that's ok ill just go to firestone or ntb right down the street and spend my money there.
