Sexism and poor business practices!!!!! As a young person with little money to spend fixing my car, and a delivery driver that needs their car to work, I've tried on multiple occasions to use pep boys as a nearby repair place. The first time, they told me that, despite their many POWER tools and such, they couldn't change my oil because they couldn't get the oil pan nut off. My boyfriend did it the next day, by hand. service above and beyond - driveshaft - saved me $$ took my truck in because of a loose driveshaft/u-joint. After searching phoenix no "kits" were available for fix because my shaft was an expensive aluminum one. After 2 days of searching, they found one in Tucson and called me. Their diligence saved me $480
VERY POOR, BEYOND POOR SERVICE I brought my truck in because it was leaking a lot of oil. They said that I would have to pay for a oil diagnostic. I was impressed that they had such a service. The diagnostic indicted sever leaks and it would cost $500 + to fix. A lot of money but at least it would be fixed. On the way home 6.2 miles I did my own diagnostic. Store that's easy to navigate Have only used the store, not the auto service. Employees have been helpful and know exactly where to find what you're looking for. The store is clean and open and easy to navigate with "departments" clearly labeled. Prices seem fine and some advertised deals make it an extra bargain. Checkout on a Saturday afternoon went quickly.
Pep Boys - 63rd. Ave & Bell I like using the Pepboys In Glendale Because they are conveniently close and usually have chat I am looking for. They sometimes seam a bit under staffed & it gets hard to get someone to help you. But the priceing is good as well.
