I scheduled an appointment with Pep Boys for a diagnostic test on a Sunday, only to be told when I arrived that the technician who handles diagnostics is never there on Sundays or Mondays. Annoying, but I stayed patient and rescheduled for Thursday at 7 a.m. Fast forward to Thursday: I show up right on time, only to be told the same technician is now on PTO until the following Tuesday. Mi experiencia fue muy desagradable. Solicite alineacion, el primer precio fue 124$ y 30 dias de garantia. Al momento de realizar la alineacion, me dijeron que el carro tenia un problema en los terminales, que Debian corregirlo xq asi no se podia alinear. El presupuesto de esa reparacion.... 400$+ alineacion y un fee, total 670$. Una locura. Le dije que no. Marcos was incredibly sweet and understanding with me. I came in with about 30 minutes before close and he still took me in to get my light fixed. Great customer service, he was very nice and they got it done quickly. I’d definitely recommend this place as a teenage girl because even though I knew nothing about cars they were super helpful.
I needed a replacement tire and they had on in stock and swapped it out for the old one quickly. The staff was respectful and friendly and they also did an overview of my car's condition to make me aware of other issues with my car - but no pressure to get those things done today. I have been taking my car off and on to Pep Boys for at least 25 years and I have always come away satisfied with the work done and the recommendations I received.
