I don’t generally write reviews, but I feel it is necessary to protect the public. This morning I went to Pep Boys in Celebration, FL due to a problem with a rear tire. They inspected and told me I needed front struts, rear shocks, an oil change and a few other things. I was told they needed to call Kia, the maker of my car, to get the strut and shock parts. The wait is ridiculous. I have never ever waited so long just to fix a tire.
Over $900 paid and my car still left not starting. Claimed it was all this bs and was wrong. They don’t know what they’re talking about and scam Edit: took my car to a different mechanic and they told me 100% that pep boys scammed me and that what pep boys told me was wrong, they cut a wire in my car that they did not need to because the original mechanic didn’t properly install the starter, and that all I needed was a new battery. DO NOT GO HERE. I called and asked politely for a refund and they tried to walk me in circles ... read more
