UNTRUSTWORTHY! Went in for a creaking noise, got an evaluation and a quote for $2000 in fixes including front hub assembly, front struts, rear shocks, and rear bushing. I fixed the front hub assembly and rear shocks and requested pictures of the rest, which they claimed to have. When I picked up the car, they said my front struts were actually fine, and I never got the pictures of the bushing, despite asking twice in person and twice over the phone. Broke my engine even more than it was before. Charged me for the damages they caused. Replaced things that was already replaced within months. Charged me for everything they could. These guys are as dishonest as you can get. Not worth giving them a dime
I arrived at Pep Boys around 11:00 p.m. with a flat, badly worn tire and left my vehicle in their parking lot overnight. When the shop opened at 6:45 a.m., I explained that I was on my way to work. The staff immediately assisted me by installing the spare tire. I ultimately purchased a new tire from them. They provided prompt, professional, and genuinely empathetic service during a stressful situation.
