This Pepboys is a bunch of con artists yes. They told me that tie rod tie rod was bent and that it was going to cost $1,500. I took it to another garage and there was nothing bent. Nothing wrong with my car. They weren't going to give me back my car and they've tried making me pay for the parts they ordered when they weren't even in yet. Had my oil changed, they were fast and efficient. In and out within an hour.
I had call this morning explaining my situation. This morning I had a flat tire. I called Pep Boys in Stratford to make an appointment for later on that day. I was told that they do not take anymore same day appointments & just to come in and they can take my car for a minor fix. I arrived at around 4pm & was told that it would be a 3 hour wait! The people that work there were very nice. Sat down with me & talked to about what was wrong with my car. After they fixed it they told me not to hesitate to call with any questions about anything about my car. The respect I received while there Will be the reason that I keep going back to that location
Here's hearty Fuck You to Stratford New Jersey Pep Boys. I make an appointment to get my brakes done at the available time slot of 6pm. I get there slighty early only to have some smartass hipster kid tell me the mechanics left for the day. Unapologetic. Avoid this location!!!
9am appointment scheduled online. It's now 1006 am and they still haven't touched my car. Just replacing two tires. Very disappointed in Pepboys. 1011 am finally touched the tire. 1037 finally done. I suggest NOT using online scheduling. Worthless
