Peoria Monument Company thoroughly and patiently explained the process - ordering, payment, installation. Our mother and sister's podium-like headstone was BEAUTIFULLY customized. Its rose-colored stone gorgeously honors them both. Thank You, Peoria Monument Company!!
We’ve had a very disappointing experience with this company. Repeated attempts to reach someone by phone have been unsuccessful, and messages have gone unreturned. Given the nature of their work—helping families memorialize loved ones—you would expect a much higher standard of communication and empathy. We are simply trying to get an update on when our dad’s headstone will be placed, as the original estimated date has already passed. However, we have not received a response yet.
I should’ve read the reviews first, I paid for my son’s headstone which is a small marker and they told me it can take up to 9 MONTHS! It’s only been 7 months but I gave one star because I it shouldn’t take that long for a small job.
Our Mother Martha Ayres passed away on March 29, 2024. We contracted with Peoria Monument Co through Manager Bill Steubinger to make her headstone. It has now been EIGHT months and her headstone has still not been delivered nor set in place. Calls are not returned by him, excuses are made and not kept. It is heartbreaking for our entire family that tomorrow November 29, 2024 would have been her 95th birthday but still no headstone for our Mom. It's a Disgrace to say the least.
