Overpriced, Unreasonable, Misleading The repairman spent 7 minutes in my house to determine that my dryer's heating element was bad. His quote to fix was $240. I had already checked and the cost of the heating element from the manufacturer is only $49. He said they could not sell it to me for that. When I asked how much the part is, he said $120.
