Every time I come to highland park to grab coffee (and sometimes sourdough bread), this place is my top coffee shop to go to. The atmosphere is exceptional and even when there’s long lines, they move quickly. I’ll be sad if I ever have to move. The coffee is always phenomenal and even when it’s not up to its usual standard, it’s still better than a lot of other places I’ve tried. I just wish they had more seating so I can do work here as it usually fills up within the first hour, especially on weekends
Coffee cake crumb extremelyhard top and dry,pumkin loaf under cooked, oatmeal cranberry cookies which are my favorite undercooked and different ingredients 1 bite made me sick, spinach tart overcooked extremely disappointed spent 30.00 threw everything in garbage. Must be a new baker. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing.
amazing everything!! the staff were very kind and extremely good at what they do. i got an iced mocha latte and my boyfriend got an iced hojicha latte, both were excellent! we also got one chocolate croissant and a spinach feta danish, both were perfect. the chocolate croissant was the best i've had, the texture, the taste, and the size. i went back to try a pour over, malacara farm b, and i am very happy with it! i'm convinced the folks leaving 1 star reviews because their coffee was bitter just don't like actual coffee lol... read more
