Sunday afternoon we wanted to preview the route for an upcoming visit from out of town guests. The 3 o’clock boarding was delayed 30 minutes and we were informed that the Fort Pickens stop would be skipped because “ there were no passengers to pick up. “. Then we arrived at Pensacola Beach dock too late to disembark before the ferry headed back to the city. We did not get to see either the Fort Pickens pier or the boardwalk at the beach. Such a disappointment.
