The diabetes nurse educator, Jean, was wonderful! She treated me with respect and tailored my session to my level of experience. I’ve been diabetic since 1976 and have a 20+ year history with insulin pumps, so unlike some other trainers I’ve had in the past, Jean didn’t begin by teaching me about “what it means to be diabetic” or the basics of how an insulin pump works.
