I have completely had it with this place, I waited months for an appt that they had rescheduled more than once, when I’m finally seen the Dr did shame me for “not coming sooner” when i literally had no other choice based on the fact they never answer their phone and when they finally do you wait 6+ months for an appt anyways. The front desk woman with the ratty red/purple hair is unprofessional at a level I cannot even convey through text, everytime I come in she is extremely rude to me. Very unimpressed with the administrative staff here, which is very unfortunate since I like the doctor. It took me months to get on a medication because they lost faxes on multiple occasions. I called & They said they had it. I called again a few weeks later to check on the status in which they told me they no longer have the fax with my blood work. I have a high priced PPO that doesn’t require referrals. They are under CONTRACT with Blue Cross to accept these PPOs. They wouldn’t see me without the referral. Blue Cross says this is a violation of terms. I would stay away from this place. Bad practices.
I’ve been using this facility for years. Dr Ellis knows her stuff HOWEVER, every time I’ve switched a med to try something new, it is a HORRENDOUS experience. The staff seem to be pretty incompetent. The communication between specialty pharmacy and PVD is basically non existent. As well as PVD’s communication with patients as far as ever answering the phone.
