DO NOT GO TO ARBOR CAR WASH! I DID AND NOW I NEED A NEW ENGINE! Tl;dr: Didn't put oil in the car during an oil change and now I need a new engine. I went for an oil change on 6/28/14 and then my car broke down on the side of the road on 6/29/14 because there was NO OIL in the car. They forgot to put oil into the engine! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! – NO STARS! Almost burned out my engine; I had my oil changed there. After a couple weeks I noticed that my engine smelled hot but my coolant gage never increased. I waited til I had the funds to take it in to get looked at which was about a total of 3 weeks after my oil change. My mechanic informed me that my oil filter was not screwed on right and it came off by a simple twist. The hot smell was coming from oil leaking underneath it. Friendly & Honest !! – Wow!! Great experience & great job with my vehicle! The manager - Dan was very helpful and the crew was fast & efficient. They even pointed out issues on my vehicle that needed attention without trying to sell me other products. Highly recommend this facility to others & the price was better also!!
Terrible car wash! – Not only did they raise prices, but their car wash is awful. I couldn't see out the front windshield on the way home last night, it was so smeary. Plus they left some bird-do crust on the front hood. Kind of noticeable since I have a white car... The last time I was there, some guy said he could fix a microscopic ding in my front windshield. BEWARE OF WINDSHIELD REPAIRS! – the car wash was fine, but be ware of the guys who try to fix the chips on your windshield! their name is got chips? we fix. they "fixed" three chips on my windshield which they said had to be fixed and three hours later the windshield had a huge crack. even though it was their fault they refused to fix it without us paying more money. do not use them. they are scam artists.
Really? – The absolute worse car wash for $35.00. My car was in need of a loving, caring, car washing moment and all it got was a 9 minute run through with a hose and a greased rag thrown at its beautiful heart. Now I am left with a greasy, still dirty vehicle that I will have to now take elsewhere to have the job done. Not sure about the service, but the ad drives me nuts – Didnt want to affect their star ratings but every time the ad comes on, I have to mute it. I cannot stand it! DRIVES me nuts! Im sure that may have been the angle they were going for, as I remember it, but seriously, arent there enough annoying ads? Creative but it plays so often I have to change channels or mute it. But still PRO AUSTIN BUSINESSES! Proud they are making enough to afford what must be an expensive ad, as an Austin business.
SCAM ARTISTS. Not Dishonest. Not the usual bad customer service. Running SCAMS!!! – ISSUE#1: THEY CHARGE $4 PER QUART. NOT FOR SYNTHETIC. THIS IS ON TOP OF THE $30 OIL CHANGE FEE. $61 FOR A BASIC NON-SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE. ISSUE#2: TRIED TO ADD ON AN EXTRA HALF QUART OF OIL ABOVE THE ENGINE CAPACITY TO SQUEEZE A COUPLE EXTRA BUCKS. Awesome – I left my husband's very dirty car to be detailed and found myself without a ride to pick it up. The owner picked me up at to my house so we could have our absolutely beautifully detailed car that evening. Reasonable price / fabulous job / personal service. How great is Austin that we have a great owner operated car wash so close to downtown!
