No maintenance for 6 months and counting. If you have a maintenance issue they will ask when your lease is up. You even have to pay for your air filter elsewhere. No security for 6 months and counting. Assaults by homeless on residents and cars are broken into all the time. The complex is 50-75 years old depending on location in complex and is infested with parasites. When one looks at an apartment they look at availably and the apartment not management, condition or how old are these apartments. Is management there on the hours (9am thru 5pm) or do they repair in a reasonable time like no hot water or clean up a spill in the parking lot. Some of this apartments are over seventy (70) years old. Look at the parking lot!
RecommendedHaving known Allyson (the owner of Penny Tree) for over 30 years, I can tell anyone who cares to know, that she is one of the finest human beings that you will ever meet. She is honest, decent, giving, unselfish and cares about people. She is an extremely hard worker and is just a great business person. I only have good things to say about Allyson and would recommend any business that she is part of, based upon my personal experience with her. She deserves more than 5 stars.
Constantly harassed, the maintenance is awful do not move in unless you want to be stressed and depressed. Please save your money and health and stay far away from this place as as long as possible.
Stephanie, I am sorry you had a bad experience at Pennytree. We offer free Pest Control Service every Wednesday, thru NaturZone Pest Control Service, to any tenant who has an issue. We usually have several appointments available. We invite anyone to call and check our Police/Crime records as we don't have a history of sexual assault charges filed from our property. We are a Level 3 member of Crime Free and our statistics are public record.
It's cheap. They have a roach problem, it's ghetto, ferel cats everywhere, you have shady people lingering around, cops are there almost every night, and the train goes by and wakes you up every night. I had an incident with a homeless man sexually assaulting me multiple times. The office lady acted so shocked but the police said they have a long history with this man at this property and she's been notified about him multiple times.
