wow, haven't had food or service this bad, ever... I have to drive through the area for work and stopped for dinner. I should have known by the smell (rest stop) but I gave it a chance, poor, knowledgeable staff, took forever to get my salad, it was wilted, overdressed and the veggies weren't crisp. I had meatloaf, it was overcooked and tough, I didn't know meatloaf could be tough. I won't be back.
I love love love this restaurant. I would highly suggest that anybody who likes excellent tasting cuisine, good service and relaxing atmosphere go to this restaurant.
We had a birthday celebration for ten there yesterday evening and had a great time! The food is excellent, service friendly and efficient and the bartender generous! New Executive Chef Jana is upgrading the menu soon and will be offering new choices soon! Give it a try, its our new favorite place for dinner in the Lakewood/UP area. PS. Try the fried pickles, they are a real treat! I expect to change my rating to 5 Stars when the new menu is on board!
Fried mushroom appetizer was doughy. Fish was tough, kinda chewy. This indicates a frozen piece of fish, not a freshly prepared one. Very disappointed, was really hoping that we no longer had to go to DuPont for good fish & chips.
Best food in town! Come in and give it a chance. You won't be disappointed.
my experience was GREAT!! my food was excellent as was the service. i will certainly go back. this new business is headed in the right direction.
So, i have been here several times since opening. The first few days started off rough. Its new. A local business. Management and staff here are very open to constructive criticism. Its starting to feel like i have a new place to hang out. Ive seen a lot of bad reviews on here and i can only ask that u give it another chance or a first chance. Good luck and keep up the hard work pennys!
