Just what I needed
After the birth of my son, I suffered from severe postpartum depression and saw Penny Fife for treatment. Ms. Fife is understanding and supportive, but gives you suggestions for ways to handle your problems without necessarily using drugs (though she will recommend them if she feels they are necessary). Her approach to treating PPD is holistic and includes the whole family. After about a month, the treatment really became marriage counseling, as PPD can take its toll on the spousal relationship.
