I was recently working in State College and experienced a sudden loss of vision in my right eye. A local eye doctor determined that I had a detached retina, and referred me to PA Retina Specialists. Even though their schedule was jam-packed (as evidenced by 15 or more patients in the waiting room when I arrived), they were able to schedule an emergency appointment for me almost immediately. Dr truong is the only one I trust with my eye care. I went to many other spots before this one and all I can say is there is a world of difference. I love all the staff members that you deal with and even if your going to get shots in your eyes they listen to you and care and the best thing yet is they don’t hurt much at all. I just want to say thank you for all the great work you’ve put into your job and thank everyone for there kindness and dedication to the profession service that you do give.

I was referred to this company by my eye doctor, but I was shocked by the cost. Even with excellent vision insurance, I ended up paying out of pocket $270. While I understand that specialized products can be pricey, I expected more transparency about the charges. When I called and asked about the pricing, they told me they could charge anything they wanted.
