Teresa my Physical Therapist is amazing. When I first went for therapy I could barely raise my arm up half way. I had my last session a week ago today. I have full use now of my arm, thanks to my Therapist for her guidance & skill getting me physically is shape again. My arm is as good as new. While Teresa was on vacation I had Michelle for 2 weeks & she too was great. I couldn't be more pleased at the outcome. Predatory Pricing. I use Penn State Health for all of my healthcare needs and find it to be a good network, with the exception of this office. Both times my family has used it we've experienced predatory pricing (e.g. consultation was $600 and another $450 to 'evaluate' a single air squat being performed). I would recommend staying away from the in-house physical therapy, seems like a way for the hospital to really gouge the customer and make money. I'd go to an independent physical therapy office.
Out of all the physical therapists I have been to this has been the worst. You’re sent into the gym to hunt down your PT or PT assistant. Only to be left waiting, wondering when and where they might appear from. They’re usually treating multiple patients at once. Leaving you to your own devices. The 24hr cancellation policy is extremely unforgiving. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go.
