I don’t do this often but I really feel like I need to share this so other moms to be don’t go through the same experience and also for a change maybe ? I was a UPMC patient but due to changes o & things that happened I ended up with a different insurance. I have been coming to this office for my prenatal care. I waited 15 minutes after my appointment while two people before me got called back to see their doctor. I was getting a retinal picture that took all of two minutes. Obviously the technician was sitting on her butt or was late to work. I talked to one of the supervisors who did absolutely nothing about it. I watched while a line formed and one receptionist took 10 minutes to log Into her computer to help the next person.
Wait times are excessive—15 minutes to check in, 30 to be called back, then another 30 to be seen. My visit lasted from 8:15 AM to 9:40 AM. While the new front desk trainees were kind, some staff showed clear unprofessionalism. One blonde woman with glasses was rude to an older man, and another was checked out—even the staff member who helped me noticed. I no longer see Nicole Cook. Positive atmosphere here, though wait times can be long—15 minutes to check in, 30 to be called back, and another 30 to be seen. My visit today lasted from 8:15 AM to 9:40 AM. They’re training new front desk staff, which is promising.
