My immunologist/allergist used to take my issues seriously but she randomly changed her mind about treating patients. I have a parent with MCAS treated by this doctor, and all the symptoms of it mirroring her progression as well as comorbid diagnoses. She tried to say having 5 new allergies in a few months is normal and had a student doctor reprimand me harshly about my use of the term. Uh hello, throat closing and hives is clearly an allergy? I had a rash on my thighs, butt, legs, abdomen, breast & arms. I waited for over 9 months to be seen so I could be tested for allergies! I called several times to be put on a cancellation list & to ask what kind of testing it would be but never got a clear answer over the phone. Of course I wasn't able to get in any sooner either so I waited the full 9 & a half months. fast-forward & by the time I was seen my rash had cleared up significantly but I still had very visible scars & marks. This place is a waste of your time and money. Dealing with skin issues since 2016 that is supposedly considered “dermatitis” and just trying to find answers/what is causing my rashes/ someone experienced and the Dr sat there and asked me the whole appointment “what do you want to do?” UHM what?! Unprofessional, do not waste your time going here or even calling. Go to a different network, this place is a joke. For over a year I tried to get in with this place, they kept canceling my appts, they when I asked to reschedule, they said they would call me back. Well they never did, I would get letters in the mail with the new appt. Only to find out I missed it, when I call to ask about it. They said I scheduled it for that time, I told them no I did not.
