RecommendedPenn south has taken care of my animals and my parents animals for years now. Just recently, my dad had to put his cat down after a long battle. Penn south’s staff and Dr. Rammage took the time to write personal notes about his cat, thor, and send it to his house. It was an incredibly kind gesture for my family who is grieving. Penn South was where we took all of our dogs and our cat for all their care during their long lives. And they were the loving people that helped our animals when their lives were over. We no longer have pets of our own, but the staff are instrumental in caring for lost animals and reuniting them with their families. I am so thankful they are in our community.
They are very gentle and caring with all of my pets and very compassionate with the owners when hard decisions have to be made.
I called them at 130 pm to see if they could see my mater (basset hound) because he wouldnt put any weight on his back left leg, they got us in the same day at 330. The vet wanted to do xrays so we did, he went through every one with me and explained what he was looking at or for. He said he needed an nsaid and should be better in a couple days. I LOVEPenn South. We have used this clinic since moving her 23 years ago. We’ve experienced the compassion of this team as we had to say goodbye to our babies. We also have built a relationship with their team. I would not go anywhere else.

Thank you so much to Dr. Ashlee Cochran & the Penn South Pet Clinic staff today!! I called our now previous vet to get our dog Lily in Bc she had a really bad ear infection, needed meds and to be checked out. We were told 3-4 weeks for the next appt, (they have seen her since she was a puppy and so dismissive) I called Penn South practically in tears and they worked me in immediately! They were very helpful, so sweet and welcomed us! they have now gained a new patient! Thank you! ��

The staff is always helpful. It’s easy to get an appointment. The fur kids get great veterinary care and the prices are reasonable. I lost my cat recently to heart failure and they were so wonderful to me. He’d had a heart murmur since I found him as a stray kitten so I knew it could happen. When it did, they were so compassionate and caring. Sent me a card, his collar, and his little footprint in the mail a few days after he passed. That meant a lot to me.
