I left Penn after 15 years. I never filed a claim or even had a ticket. Still my premium raised every year. "No reward for customer loyalty" That's what I was told when asked why rates going up instead of down. Plus clunky going through independent agent couldn't speak w Penn directly. I understand that there's more that factors in than just cost but for hard working family like ours, 3 cars, home, cost is crucial. I already made the change, but thank you for responding anyway. That was nice. I was a little upset.

Be aware. Our local insurance provider selected Penn for our general liability insurance. They sold us a policy based on lower sales rates, then Penn did an unusual audit to charge 6x our normal rate years later. We will be switching policies once ours expires.

Penn National Insurance handled my claim and I found them to be prompt, always returned calls and emails in a timely manner, what you expect, but rarely see from large company. Cassie- I tip my hat off to you in particular. While we still need to review numbers, I find Penn National open and fair to negotiate with.

I had auto insurance with this company. I recently canceled due to the price for my policy doubling even with zero incidents with my car. Classic case of price gouging and greed, it’s getting so ridiculous at this point. Please do better for your current customers.
