Worst company I've ever dealt with. Rude unprofessional. Unwilling to work with you, never gets back to you. Needed a simple response for a diagnostic test to see if a prior deer hit caused my air conditioning and heater to stop working, which happened right after the hit. The collision center said they couldn't link the AC problems to the deer hit, as if it were just a coincidence. They must be as incompetent as Penn National. I contacted Penn about damage to a chain link fence caused by two massive branches that came down. I had assumed that the company would only cover repairs to the fence, but the agent advised me that he could also compensate me for the cost of hiring a landscaper to cut and remove the debris (less, of course, the deductible). He cut the check before I even knew if the fence repair would include tax. Had a water line burst BEFORE the inside shut off valve, and my basement was partially flooded before the water company could shut off the water from the outside.. Thankfully PNI had offered an Underground Utility Repair coverage which I had added to my policy when it first came out. Reported my issue and an adjustor quickly contacted me and told me everything that was going to happen with my claim and walked me through the whole repair process.
