Only thing I can say......Awesome! – This place is awesome! I had no idea that Philly had a museum like this. The Egyptian gallery had mummies, sarcophigi, and a giant stone sphinx. The place was clean and the the staff was really friendly. The place is right across the bridge from the franklin institute area and we parked at Campus Park and Ride which has free weekend parking if you are going to the museum. Definately a must see!

This is an interesting museum that is seldom crowded. If you like to learn about different cultures, especially ancient Egypt, this is a great museum to visit.
This building can get very hot during the summer, and very cold during the winter. Choose your time you visit carefully. Some of the exhibits are good, some are a bit dated. The Egyptian section is the best.
On the campus of University of Pennsylvania, this museum is off the beaten path. If you are interested in ancient Egypt and other cultures, it is a must see.
