The people who work at Penn are so warm and caring!! From the front door to the doctors and nurses to the janitorial staff. Everyone is so pleasant when you are not feeling well
This facility is understaffed and the wait times are very long. They do not have any drop off system for labs so you have to wait a second time just to give it to them.
My appointment was with the lab today for bloodwork. I also had a stool sample. The receptionist asked to see my script. I gave it to her and told her I had a sample as well. She asked me if it was ordered. Well, you just looked at my script so you tell me? My name was shouted to come back, but I didn’t see a person waiting for me. I asked the desk where the voice came from, she said the lab, assuming everyone knows where the voice behind the wall comes from. It’s the first time I went here to do the physical with Dr. Beauparlant. When I used Google Map to find the location, I saw one very bad review for Dr. Beauparlant. It gave me a very bad feeling for choosing a wrong doctor. The fact is totally reverse. Dr. Beauparlant is very patient, very thorough, very smart to find my past record with Penn Medicine and quickly picked up and realized my health issues in the past.
