Helped put blue boxes on a truck today Helped Truck Driver thanks glad I got to interact with people today. I love penn cove shellfish it’s always good and I buy it sparingly because I don’t want to ever grow to dislike the taste of Mussels and Oysters.
The worst capitalist nightmare you can imagine, if you want to feel like a statistic or just a number to line the bosses pocket then good; this is the job for you. Never felt like such a disposable number.
Our Costco brought in some Penn Cove mussels and we bought a 5 pound bag. We prepared a coconut green curry broth to cook the mussels, similar to the broth in a favorite Coupeville WA restaurant. The quality of the mussels was amazing!! Very few discards. This dish using high quality mussels is one of my favorites.
