Please be very cautious when deciding to bring your pet to this clinic. Fortunately my negative experience with Dr. Vanvolkenburg was brief and no harm came to my pet. However there are far too many horror stories abut her and her business. Please look into it for yourself. If you have a story of your own, please share and take legal action. Protect our pets. We are their advocates.

I took my Dog there after a seizure Sunday evening. I called they said bring her in. I did about 6 pm Sunday nite. The care is fabulous and Dr. VANVOLKENBERG is beyond great. They really care about Our loved ones. I noticed the Doctors eyes well up at least 3 times. She really is good. Yes it's expensive, there is nothing cheap about running a good business. The tests that may seem like BS are the process of eliminating the many issues our loved ones have... my Dog is well and home. Thank Penensula Animal Hospital...

After waiting another 10 minutes, the vet finally came in, looked at my cat for maybe 15 seconds, and then said she had ear and teeth problems. ... read more
