We are new to the area and never have owned a house with a heat pump before. We went to Peninsula Heat and arranged a service call to make sure our heat pump was in good shape. Keith checked everything out while I hung out with him so that I could learn more about heat pumps. He did a good job of explaining everything he did, and assured me we were in good shape. The price was also about 30 percent lower than another company quoted me, and Peninsula Heal was able to get to the job much quicker.
We had a service call and were told that we had a bad compressor but it was under warranty. Their service manager was the one who came out and installed the new compressor. The electrical disconnect was bad after he left and not properly fixed. There was also a refrigerant leak. This company does shoddy work and then we received the bill for $1700 for a warranty compressor. Luckily I questioned the bill because they had double billed us.
