They are still using gas-powered leadblowers at the apartment property they manage. They’ve banned gas-powered leaf blowers in the city of Monterey a few years ago and this management company still feels like it’s okay to annoy the apartment residents and the 40 surrounding houses with the leaf blowers. An electric leaf blower is readily available in the range of $50-150 and after several years it isn’t asking much to make that small investment.
I had a very disappointing experience with this property management company. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not only did they hung up on me without any explanation, but their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. It's frustrating to deal with such poor customer service, especially when you're trying to address important concerns. I expected better, and I would not recommend this company based on this experience.
Complacent after years of managing my property. Damaged my deck and lied about the reason. Tenants damaged sliding door. Gutted and remodeled shower in master bath due to cracked shower pan never replaced. Paid several plumbers to patch water damage but never sought to fix cause. Now after 8+ years and $40k in repairs I’ve learned my lesson. Always listen to your neighbors. When you live out of state, have an advocate check your property every 6 months. Listen to your neighbors. Lesson learned.
Being a tenant in Monterey has been a difficult experience overall, but this management company has been a pleasure to live with. By far the best management of any place of I’ve lived at, they were quick to solve any issues I had, they were the most polite. I lived under them for a year and I always felt like they actually wanted me to enjoy my living space, thank you PGR. <3 so sad to leave
