Great experience renting a kayak from Penguin. We were planning on using the boats at Occoquan Regional park but the ones that didn't leak were all rented out so we crossed the river and found Penquin. I'm so glad we did. The boat was clean, no holes, no spiders lurking, the life jackets were in great shape and the staff was super friendly. I do prefer the LL Bean paddles a bit more than what they use but a minor inconvenience. My girlfriend and I had a fun memorable experience kayaking together today. You get sightseeing and working out done in just one day! I totally recommended going.
If you decide to visit Historic Occoquan on a day the weather permits, I highly recommend kayaking or paddle boarding with Penguin Paddling. The owner, Danny, is awesome and very accommodating! I definitely plan on coming back with my boyfriend for round two, and this time with our friends for a fun group outing :D

Had an awesome time first time paddle boarding. Love that I didn't get wet or fall in. If I can do this, trust me anyone can. Great experience, friendly staff !!
