RecommendedFood provided for small family gathering was good & hot. Especially loved the cheesy potatoes & chicken cordon bleu. I stopped into store today to inquire about another event- staff very helpful. Have driven by this place for yrs not knowing anything about them & it’s a multi-generation family business for over 27 yrs.
We ordered today a beef box and pork box along with some chicken. We have purchased from them before...especially our Swedish pickled ham. I highly recommend them, buy local! Great people, great prices.
We are planning our wedding. This place has been the very best in prices and even offering to give us samples of food. We were thinking bite size samples. Oh, we were so wrong. Our samples were whole dinners. The California Medley, Stuffed Chicken Breast, and Roast Beef are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We highly recommend this place.
Thank you Penguin for providing a legacy with our family. Polish sausage tastes the same as it has for the last 53 years of my life. Been a part of every baptism, first communion, wedding, funeral or general gathering my whole life. Even though Charlie and Sonny are no longer with us, we are third generation Penguin polish sausage lovers!! Outshines anything I’ve tried from Chicago! Happy Easter and thanks for the memories!

Always wonderful food and service in the store or catering an event. I've known many that used them throughout the years for weddings, get together's, parties etc. A Rockford tradition in my book.
I ordered a whole pig for my son and wife rehearsal dinner everyone enjoyed it. It was a huge hit.
