I've been a member for years but only just signed up for checking and savings. I've had nothing but problems so far. Trouble linking external accounts. The PenFed app simply DOES NOT work on an iPhone. I just spent two hours on the line with customer service trying to sort it. And they cannot. So no app. Also, PenFed doesn't work with Plaid for linking apps/accounts so apps like Venmo will be difficult or impossible to link. I use the Acorns app for round ups and savings on my purchases. They have a lot of problems. I need to get fixed before you try to get an auto loan through them. I finally got one, but in Hindsight, I wish I had never even tried.
I was really happy that they were able to help me to become a member with PenFed. They were really nice and friendly.
