Wonderful place for anyone on whatever path they've chosen. Just needed to sit in silence and be still. Have come home with a new and beautiful lens for viewing the world and a renewed fire for service.
I had to attend a one day seminar there 6 years ago, as part of my training for Kendal-Crosslands Communities, a non profit Quaker based life-care community. It had a deep spiritual meaning to me, and how to be silent my mind and attach to my soul. Helped me understand the idea of my inner light, and how God is in everyone. The experience really helped me find a way to focus my spiritual thoughts and connection to God.
A place of peace and love. All is well in the light.
A superb intentional community for contemplation and spirituality, this gorgeous center offers refreshment and support for thirsty minds. As a Quaker, I have been blessed to visit Pendle Hill very often and know well, the rare, egalitarian philosophy that the staff exude.
