This little museum is a gem adjacent to the Cooch's Bridge Battlefield, the site of the only battle of the American Revolution on Delaware's soil. The collection includes displays on our nation's military struggles from the Revolution through Afghanistan, as well as other treasures of local history. It has limited hours, but if you happen to be nearby on the 1st or 3rd Saturday of the month or a Wednesday afternoon, i definitely encourage you to stop in. It's well worth it! The great Staff! Also, the various historic items they have. My hobby being tanks, very glad to see the photos and items from the Chrysler Tank Plant. Very worthwhile museum. Rick Eshleman.

Visited Pencader Heritage Museum this weekend and have a lovely and informative day! Met Linda, Bob and Barbara — and they were the nicest, sweetest and most charming curators ever! Highly recommend you visit this Delaware gem. We will be back! = )

A lovingly curated collection of objects and information on local history. Visit PHAA and while you are there thank the dedicated volunteers...or better yet, become one yourself.

Fantastic museum staffed by friendly and very knowledgeable kind people. If you like history even just a little bit, you will not be disappointed! -Great displays and chocked full of information. The staff will gladly take the time to tell the stories behind the stories and it is obvious they all love what they do. The museum is free and the PHAA has numerous family oriented, fun & educational events throughout the year. Please consider supporting them with your generous donations or become a member!

Great museum! I wish I'd stopped in sooner. Enjoyed learning about the Revolutionary War history right by us. The volunteer staff were so welcoming and happy to share their knowledge.
