I could not recommend PHRC more, specifically Liz Akincilar. Liz is an industry leader in Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation and she has clients that come see her from all over the US. I personally saw Liz for nerve related pain after a very traumatic experience with a Pelvic PT in my home state that was not knowledgeable in how to treat nerve related pain. Staff provided valuable knowledge about recovering from a prior procedure that I had not been given by my care team at the time. I am very confident in this practice's ability to provide quality care to clients/patients. I especially recommend this place for those who have undergone gender affirming procedures.
I had a fantastic experience working with Lydia! The focus of treatment was on preparing for labor and delivery of my first baby, strengthening core and pelvic muscles to help with pregnancy aches and pains, and learning how to manage pain during labor using different positions. I had received very minimal education on all of these topics through my providers and birthing class, so I was a bit nervous as I approached my due date. Lydia was a godsend. I would highly recommend Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center in Merrimack! I worked with Lydia and she was amazing! She is very kind, comforting and was a joy to work with. Lydia really listened to my concerns and worked with me to to achieve my PT goals. She taught me so much and gave me tools to use outside of PT. If I ever need Pelvic PT again I would go back to see Lydia asap!
