Peluso mics have been some of the best microphones I have ever used and the most reliable! You can't go wrong with any of the mics in the Peluso line!
Really impressed by Peluso VTB. Used to record the same things with a bit cheaper Neumann, now the VTB has became my go-to for vocals and mid mic for piano. I was sure this was definitely a bright mic, but in pure cardioid mode it has a really full and clean low freqs range which doesn't cover the rest of the spectrum but sounds "there" still performing its shocking and ultra-clean high end; didn't try, but maybe it could capture as well even a bass amp.
