You saved my son’s birthday party!! I had another venue booked, but when I got there to set up, it was double booked and the other event had already started. I was panicking. Many phone calls were made. The Pellston Lodge was ready to accommodate. Even with it being at least 30 minutes away, we were still able to get everything set up and ready to go with only an hour delay from my original party start time. On top of that, they were incredibly friendly. The pool was so much fun for the kids 😊 Thank you!!
Keep everything under lock and key when away from rooms. Video tape leaving the room when checking out or they will charge you for damages.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I called to book this hotel directly, I asked if the pet fee was $50 per dog or $50 total. They told me $50 total. We get there, it is not as nice as it looks in the pictures at all. It is so run down, pillows SUCK, their shampoo and condition is a 2 in 1 - yeah, that gives you a summary of how "nice" it is. We loved the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very clean but the towels were rather small and thin. Pool and whirlpool were well maintained. Breakfast bar was very clean and the offerings were basic. It was cereal, oatmeal, bread/bagel, hard boiled eggs. Pancake machine wasn't working. No fruit offered. Vending machines were out of order. Bring your own snacks! The lobby is comfortable and the fireplace was nice. We will come back again.
