've been a patient of Dr. Pellerito back since 2008 and have the chicken gel injected into my knee and have not needed any injection since Doctor Pellerito Has the best bedside manner. A s professional kind knowledgeable and expertise in history of Dr.is Soft-spoken. And really cares about us patients.. In a word, Doctor Pellerito Is charming.
My elderly Aunt ( I am her DPOA) had a lumber compression fracture but Dr. Pellerito continued to put her through testing for a hip fracture over the course of months. No evidence per MRI ( 2 MRI’s) of a hip fracture. But surprise surprise he doesn’t do lumbar laminectomies with spinal fusion. He wouldn’t order testing stat as his response when office staff asked for a stat order was “ it’s her choice to wait 3 weeks, there are places she can get into sooner”. Last Few Appointments had to wait an hour or longer. Dr. Pellerito was unclear with me and wouldnt look at anything but my ankle. Especially, when my whole leg was in pain. Receptionist and billing department has been terrible and rude. I do not recommend this place. Unfortunately, they are overrated and overpriced. I will not be returning.
Dr Pellerito has been my orthopedic Dr since 1999, yep 1999. First surgery he did for me was Torn Rotator Cuff in 2000, then a finger surgery whenever, next he did the injections in both knees to hold off replacements until the injections no longer worked then did left TKR in 2010 and the right in 2015. There is no other doctor I would turn to for my orthopedic needs. He is compassionate, he will check on you everyday you are in the hospital, he listens and he 100 % knows his business.
