A horrible experience with This company. Pelican Realty has one of the worst housing managers. The houses are subpar. They ended up, forcing me to move out four months earlier in my contract and did not give me back my security deposit. Thanks twice before giving your money to Pelican Realty. It’s not worth it. To top it off there were multiple maintenance problems that I had in the house and they ignored fixing the problems. Don’t do it.
Avoid this property and company if you’re Black, a parent, or care about livable conditions. I rented 522 S. Pierce St. in New Orleans from December 2023 to November 2024, and the experience was deeply disturbing. From the beginning, the property was unsafe and improperly maintained — with no heat, no hot water, and a broken bathtub for seven out of twelve months.
