I recently used Pelican Properties to rent a Home I built on a lot in Mt. Pleasant S.C. Sharon is a true Real Estate Professional. She listed my house for rent and took care of all the advertising, lease, customer service and also helped me with maintenance professionals to handle small jobs that needed to be finished before we rented the house. I would strongly advise against working with Pelican Properties. Simple requests for information regarding invoices to renters and security deposit disbursements were unfulfilled, leaving the renters responsible for significant costs that were not anticipated or well-explained. I suggest you work with another company with more thorough and effective communication and one that aims to prioritize working relationships with tenants.
I been working with Sharon Shotwell and Pelican Properties for several years. As an out-of-state property owner, I couldn't be more pleased with her service. I've had several large renovation projects and Sharon has managed each one from start to finish. She is very knowledgeable about the real estate market; whenever I talk with her, I feel I'm getting the best advice. I would definitely recommend Sharon and Pelican Properties.
