Get directionsIt is not an emergency room, it takes hours to give help medical attention. I was there, I arrived at 10 pm and they didn't give me medical attention until 3 am. Besides, I think they were racist with me for being Hispanic. I think they left me until the end. I saw that they were attending to people before me and they didn't see me in a medical emergency. The truth is I was very disappointed. Just when I was about to leave, they called me. I don't recommend that place.
I went to Pelham ER after being sick for over a week with a fever, sore throat, coughing, eye infection and throwing up. I waited in the waiting room forever. Then they finally called.me back. I was there for a total of six hours.i was first approached by a PA who had the personality of a snake and would not look at me. Then a male RN came in and tried to get blood. Of course he didn't know what he was doing and went through the vein. I ask if they could do anything about my eye which at this point was swollen almost closed ... read more
Horrible experience. The nurses were nice, but my name was entered into the system wrong despite me telling them they messed it up. The doctor was extremely condescending and dismissive, and when I called him out on it, he got defensive and basically told me I was overreacting. I spent 8 hours here, which is the LONGEST I have ever spent in an ER, and I go a lot due to chronic illness. I will be filing a complaint against the doctor that I saw. Communication was poor, no one gave me my actual test results, and MyChart won’t ... read more
The worst emergency room I have ever seen no sense of urgency for the patient waiting. PELHAM YOU GUYS HAVE TO DO BETTER!
Went late last night while traveling due to a kidney stone. I saw the 3 stars and was worried this was going to be a horrible experience. It wasn’t at all. They checked me in quickly, then immediately sent me to triage. The triage nurse stated there were no beds available but they had some discharges leaving soon. They kept me informed and after about 10 minutes took me to a room. The nurses and Dr. were extremely polite, caring, and had great bed side manners.
