The first visit When I first visited this restaurant, I had nothing but high praises for it, the second time not so bad, but the third time the service was awful. I don't know, may be I went at a bad time, but I must say that the food is good, but not good enough for the bad service that was received. The prices are pretty high, and seating is limited.

My favorite Chinese in Raleigh I love this place. The food is always good, the service is fine, and I have never had trouble getting a table. The portions are large, and reasonably priced. I love the Black Pepper Steak - its a nicer cut of meat than you find in most Chinese places, and comes with appetizers making it a good value.

Great to me! I sometimes get takeout of sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli. The food is hot and of high quality and tastes very fresh. I have never had any issues

Tasty, non-greasy Chinese... This place is very good. They have a nice ambience with Asian decor, an aquarium and a koi pond. They have the usual Chinese dishes on the menu, but also have a "Authentic Chinese" section of the menu with some interesting choices. Every time we've been, the food was excellent. The main reason I like this restaurant so well is that the ingredients are fresh, and nothing is greasy. My husband likes some of the items on the "authentic" menu, as well as the really spicy dishes. If you like Chinese f... read more

The demise of a formerly great place This used to be our favorite restaurant. We have slowly seen both the food and the service go downhill, and last night will be our last night dining here. The food was mediocre, the service was non-existent, and no one at the restaurant even cared. The manager watched me get up twice to find a water pitcher to bring to the table, and he still sat at the back in front of his computer.

Top Notch Peking Garden is simply some of the best, most authentic chinese food in Raleigh and its longevity is testimony to that. It is a small, intimate restaurant with a cool koi pond just as you enter. The menu is very extensive, with what the typical American diner would consider unusual, rare, even bizarre foods. Luckily, they have standard Chinese favorites, too. We love the fact that they deliver, offer brown rice (for $1.00 extra), and have excellent wait staff. The prices are higher than the quik-stop Chinese buffe... read more

We have been getting Peking Garden delivery for the past 8 years with little to no problems. I must say the food is outstanding and actually surprised me tonight. I usually order the same stuff that I'm comfortable with, but tonight I ordered the yellow thai curry grouper. I'm from the north and was always close to the water so to have a seafood item on a Chinese restaurant menu be so good to prompt me to write reviews on Google and Yellow Pages it must be outstanding. For the past year when I call I usually get Stephanie on... read more
