Awesome breakfast ... the Porky Pig Skillet and the country fried steak were really great! My friend said the skillet was better than ones he's had in Chicago - and he's had many great ones in the city. Country fried steak was very tender. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. will definitely come back!
Really good breakfast. Our waitress, Taylor was super friendly and helpful. I suggest the eggs Benedict, yum.

RecommendedAlways good to eat at Peggy’s I haven’t been there in awhile but I’ve had health issues but it’s a very friendly place and great food as well I love going there the people,food and all are really wonderful I would recommend trying it because you will love it and keep coming back.

I visit Chesterton a couple of times every year, and Peggy Sue’s is a “must do” on every visit. Great food, excellent service, outstanding and friendly people. You owe it to yourself to start at least one day of your life at Peggy Sue’s!

Had heard such great things about Peggy She's so decided to stop for breakfast on Saturday morning. Yes they were busy. We sat for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement we were there. Waitress finally came brought menus and took drink orders. Again waited for her to bring back the drinks and take our orders. Food was delivered hot and looked great. We ordered biscuits and gravy.
