Chen views matters in black and white with no gray. She can be curt, distant and difficult to communicate with. Her physical therapist is better than most in Santa Cruz but far from what I am used to at major teaching hospitals. In fact, she is cavalier and dosn't know much about spine management. Chen does acupuncture and some things about pain. She told me that an MRI causes too much radiation but this is incorrecct because an MRI is a magnet. I question her overall competency. Staff and all providers at this office are always more than happy to answer questions, and actually welcome questions. They answer phone quickly and return calls quickly when you leave voicemail. They don't use a hold system. The clinic is conveniently located across from Dominican Hospital on Soquel. The restrooms at this office were spotless, and the clinic is fragrance-free. I've been really helped by the holistic treatment modalities at the clinic.

Has this provider ever cancelled your appointment on you last minute? No, they didn't cancel on me last minute Was this provider sympathetic to your situation? Yes, they were sympathetic and caring Was this provider's office too loud? Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet Did this provider rush your appointment? No, I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns? No, they didn't make me feel uncomfortable

Was this provider's office easy to locate? Fairly Easy Was this provider argumentative or easily angered? Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met Does this provider offer any coupons, discounts or promotions? Not that I have seen Were the restrooms clean at this provider's office? Yes, they were immaculate!
