The doctor we saw - Michelle Kobayashi- saw our son's mouth, and immediately decided that he needed 6 root canals, and multiple fillings (she wanted to use amalgams). His teeth were not bothering him at the time. Yes, he had cavities, but I was not in a huge rush to run out and put him under general anaesthesia (what she wanted to do), when we know that this has side effects (like death).
